Filmfestival 3

Saturday, i went to my parents party in honor of their 35th anniversary. Although i am not very keen on my parents i do have a certain respect for them being together all these years. I know them both a little bit so i have no idea how they do it. Is it really love or just convenience?

Went to Nijmegen with A to see another [awarded] festival documentary called "Forever". It was lovely. Predominantly shot at Père-Lachaise in Paris. Visitors were speaking about why they were there and what it meant to them. Some very touching and lovely stories emerged.

Afterwards the filmmaker stopped by to answer some questions. I myself never really feel the need to analyze a movie more then just stating the scenes i particularly liked. But she was a really sweet lady and later on A even got her to write him something cool on his ticket in the lux-lounge. It was funny because after all the questions she specifically wanted to know what he thought of the film [he was by far the youngest of the lot, that's why].

I wasn't JUST the youngest... she most probably asked me about her movie because I just look like someone who could give a great review about a movie! (In a general sense..) (And I was probably the only fella who winked at her during her speakin')

Winking is so passé!
