Cliff Richard forever

So Friday i had the day off. J and i went to Amsterdam, to the FOAM, to see the exhibit "Plaats Delict Amsterdam" ("Crime Scene Amsterdam"). It was quite morbid, but oh so interesting. We also visited the other exbibits (see FOAM site).

Preceding the museum visit some shopping had occured :) I had purchased a couple of earrings for my stretched ears - there are just more to find in Amsterdam. We'd spent most of our time at Lush, where it smelled divine and we were forced to buy a lot, haha. Need more...
We had dinner at the Bazar which was very good. I like the Bazar, not only for the great chocolate cake :)

Somehow my good experiences with the Dutch railway are very rare, but this was one of those occasions. And to complete a very nice day, when we got home The book "By the Sword" had arrived. It had taken it's time to get here, but like i always say.... better late than never.

The next day i didn't do too much. Had a lot of washing up to do. Because last weekend i didn't do it either. Went to the shop for groceries and liquor and had to take some clothes back to the store. I had bought an NSD Powerball on the internet from someone in town so i went to pick it up saturday. When i got back i finished fixing my third and last foil. Now they are all electrically functioning properly again. I am so glad i am able to fix my own foils. Anyway, I also have to check my "fil de corps". Because i have two non functioning out of three. And i like to be sure that my kit is working before walking on the piste.
Also very excited about going to Ireland this friday. I will be gone for a week.

When i finally decided to think about what to do with the evening that lay ahead of me, i got an invitation from M. So off to dinner and a movie at M's place. She had made great food, great coffee and great cake. Yummie. We watched "The Prestige". A fantastic movie with a magnificent cast and a rivalry between two illusionists going ugly.

So ok, sunday i went to IKEA to look at kitchens and take some measures. I also bought two frames for some Japanese Beauties. They now hang on my wall. I cleaned my room a bit and took the big tv down from the cabinet it pressed it's enormous weight on. Man, that thing is heavy. I will dispose of it soon.

And now for the title: this phone picture i took in the toilet at the photo museum in Amsterdam. It was a men's toilet - i can't read apparently :0
